He did his Ph.D. study at the University of Twente in the field of energy technology. He has more than 15-year experience in energy technology. As the son of a cow farmer, he has a very long history of working in the agricultural sector. In his present function as founder and director of CCS, he has performed more than 100 studies about the implementation of biogas on farms, resulting in 10 biogas installations. He is now focusing on micro digestion. One of the innovations he is now working on is a cheap biogas upgrading installation for micro digestion.
